Preheat your oven to 350 and spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
Mash your ripe banana in a large mixing bowl.
Add the remaining wet ingredients: milk, egg, maple syrup, almond butter, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
Add the dry ingredients: oats, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are combined.
Stir 3 Tbsp of chocolate chips into the mixture.
Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and top with the remaining additional chocolate chips.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
